Two years ago we found ourselves in a place we did not want to be in, with a poor CQC report, regulatory notices and a need for significant support to understand our challenges.
We have spent the last two years understanding what happened and, importantly, what we need to do as an organisation to ensure we succeed in our ambition to deliver an ambulance service which is modern, sustainable and capable of delivering high quality, safe services for our communities, and that we are a place where people want to come and work.
We have been working hard on organisational recovery, developing an ambitious recovery and improvement programme called Fit for the Future. At the heart of this is our desire to strengthen the culture across our organisation, simultaneously empowering staff to lead change whilst focusing on the values and behaviours required.
A key step is the recruitment of a new executive team to lead and deliver Fit for the Future, leading the organisation into the future. We have already recruited a Chief Paramedic, Chief Governance Officer and Chief Digital Officer and are now ready to recruit to three more executive roles; Chief Finance Officer, Chief People Officer and Executive Director of Operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing executive team to lead the organisation through and beyond its next phase of improvement.
We are looking for experienced, driven individuals who are committed to continuous improvement to join an innovative team working within an organisation which is motivated for change.
