Who we are
South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS) is one of 10 ambulance services in England.
We serve the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire for 999 and 111 services. We also run Patient Transport Services in Sussex.
Our three main functions are:
The accident and emergency service to respond to 999 calls
The 111 service for when medical help is needed fast but it’s not a 999 emergency
The Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service
